Were you able to get the 2023.06.00 software update installed before the test? My average was the same prior to the software update and continued to get better.
However, with the latest (2023.10.x) the vampire drain almost doubled (for me)
Having PPF installed isn't a way to save money overall on paint damage. It's more about keeping the original paint as nice as possible for as long as possible. Also, PPF self-heals so it doesn't end up looking bad if taken care of. Of course, it only prevents scratches and chips so anything...
Squint your eyes or cover the grille and that third one looks like most vehicles I see on the road. I don't think this is going to be the right way for Rivan to go.
True, but Car and Driver said the ride quality of the R1S was lacking relative to the R1T, so we have a baseline for the reviewer's taste. In any case, we did get OTA ride quality updates on the R1T, maybe the R1S is catching up.
Looks like another case of too few fasteners on the plastic under trays? I think @Count Orlok may have had something similar?
EDIT: When I installed my RMaxx sliders, I noticed a couple missing screws...
Birds got so bad where I last lived that I ended up making "mirror socks" out of an old car cover. Some of them get pretty territorial and would attack their image for minutes at a time. Not good for the paint.
On the plus side, Cybertruck owners (whenever this might happen) will have the "Cybertruck wipe" to show camaraderie with other passing CTs. Us Rivian owners can only flash our brights.
If I happen to be missing parts on any order, EV Sportline or otherwise, I contact the vendor directly. I can't imagine why they would deliberately leave out a part! That makes no sense.
Most of us had a looong time to figure things out but didn't actually see a bunch in the wild, especially side-by-side. I did change interior back-and-forth 7 times (BM <--> FE) but decided to take a chance on Forest Edge and am very glad I stuck with it. If I had seen El Cap next to FG, I may...
I'd like to see how well the cameras do as dash cams. Specifically, how close does a vehicle need to be to make out the license plate. It works o.k. when my R1 is sitting in a parking lot. Even my 4K dash cam on another vehicle can have trouble with plate unless the vehicle is fairly close.
I don't see a load rating in the specs. The offset is much lower than OE (wheel will be closer to outer fender lip) so you need to research if people are having rubbing issues with the same offset and tire. Some go as low as +18 but have rubbing issues in lower suspension settings... likely with...
I have chilewich placemats in the kitchen that have seen daily use for over a decade. They are indistinguishable from new and they get cleaned periodically using hot water and scrubbers. That stuff is tougher than it looks.
I like the Rivian mats, it's a novel use for the material, but they...
Yes, I remember that and I'm expecting a replacement. I generally think at the end of the day Rivian will do the right thing. I guess I would have rather they said something like "We're actively testing a potential solution and will replace all tonneau covers..." rather than what was said that...
We’re actively testing a potential solution for customers experiencing issues with their powered tonneau cover.
I'm not experiencing issues... maybe because I rarely use the powered tonneau. I hope the fix is rolled out universally to all existing R1Ts with the powered tonneau, regardless of...
