Since it's about "What are you going to pull / tow" ... future tense, I submit the race car my son and I are building. It looks bad, but it's going to go together quickly once a few more parts arrive.

A new car of any value should be free of scratches and chips in the paint. There are some sloppy areas too... I think I have maybe one of those issues on mine and no paint chips.
Mine went quick, probably less than 30 minutes. It was my first EV so I really wasn't well prepared, I suppose if I had been, it could have taken a couple hours. This forum filled in many blanks for me.
I installed mine yesterday. Seems aligned but when I press on the pad, I can feel the contours of the pucks. I was not really able to get the top to "snap in" to the bottom. It's not noticeable, so not sure I need to worry.
The 303 products are great, I've been using the fabric guard on convertible tops for years.
I just bought a Cerakote Ceramic Trim Coat Kit that I will try out on the R1T soon.
