Many good questions. Most answered somewhere in the “web”. A current and potentially, a future Riv does not seem to be for you and your wants, needs.
i attached a rope he had to my front hooks, which I’d rather not, but it worked out.
He asked me who makes the truck and I proudly told him, Rivian, from Normal, IL!!
Haha
The car in front of him stopped half way as they were turning left, and no other cars were on the other road. He tried to not hit them and veered to the right. The more I think about it, we were barely going 10 mph. There is a stop sign and the other road tends to be busy. Sure he could...
I was all excited thinking I would get to use something from my three year old Riv recovery kit. He had an old strap(not static rope), so we went with that. Haha
I would not charge anyone, unless I need to help digging. And even then, most likely not. Otherwise why offer to help.
Today, I took the risk of helping a Hummer get out of a snow mound. I helped since I saw them avoiding rear ending another car that suddenly stopped. traffic was barely going 15 mph.
Since I was behind him I gave them some time and space to try to reverse out, but he could not. When I asked him...
FYI: In the OPs 2nd post, in this thread, this is noted.

MY2021 EV (Mach E) does drop while driving in cold winter weather. The battery pack is exposed and this design feature hinders winter weather range/charging curves.

Still, I doubt anyone here can irrefutably state how the R2 will...
I did not state I was unsatisfied. I can see, mainly from reading others posts here and elsewhere, that Rivian should improve their overall customer experience, especially once the vehicle is purchased.
Should the R2 have the impact many expect here, that experience may make a big difference.
And most have not had an issue with their vehicles.
That does not mean Rivian could not be more customer centric and consistent across the Nation. To me, as they grow this will matter. Maybe I am wrong.
To me, quality of service, even if the process will take longer, can be handled better, be more consistent across the Nation.
Yes, some SCs may have more work. The overall customer experience can still be better.
This is outta left field, but I have never encountered an employee showing signs...
I appreciate the effort and, as many of us know, they have been expanding every year.
My concern is still. How long will it take for service to be completed? How far out will the scheduling be? The overall QUALITY of the feedback, follow up and the final solution.
I would prefer a Riv loaner...
The OPs ask seems valid. How will cold weather driving impact the battery performance.
To me two things. They are opining based on another companies vehicle. And, who here has daily access to an r2 in this forum?
This post is almost at the trolling level. Just saying…
Would this help? I bought these for my Rtt, though mainly concerned with the fit on the crossbars.

Just had my original, thick cable unit replaced. Loving the new cable at almost 1/4 of the size, and a cleaner unit interior.
Thankfully all done under warranty and I did not have to deal with the return.
That’s all folks…
