  1. DEFLATE TIRES FOR BEACH DRIVES?

What?? Your post agrees with the OP, since you, “Never deflated the tires.” I will listen to those that are more experienced, like the park rangers that require me to deflate. And for some odd reason the owners guide for my T. In the end you decide how much risk you are willing to take and the...
  2. Is nine service events normal?

I think if we are all being logical and not repeating the line, “Rivian is a new company.. blah, blah”, no is the answer to any vehicle being serviced that much. To me there is some value in that line, but at some point one has to decide, “no mas”. In the end I may be more willing to stay the...
  3. DEFLATE TIRES FOR BEACH DRIVES?

I have 22s and they worked, after deflating..
  4. DEFLATE TIRES FOR BEACH DRIVES?

Uhhhh? Where does Riv state not to air down? This is from the owners guide.
  5. Worcester MA Collision Repair / Wagner

I do not think I would take my T there again. My repairs took very long. There were some delays by the Riv team. I still think the WCC team could have saved some time and had better customer service. Hopefully I am in the minority and others with a better experience reply
  6. Rivian Wall Charger - *Really* Weatherproof?

I bet you will not, or maybe did not, find many if any complaints about the Riv evse being damaged due to outdoor exposure. In any case, mine has been outside for 2.5 years, used almost daily and still working. I live in MA.
  7. Fast charging error in cold (G1)

Not I. I charged at a Tesla spot yesterday. my charge started very, very slow due to the pack not being warm, then it went up to the normal rate. What was the error?
  8. cracked windshield in cold weather woes

Ohh even better. I asked if you wanted to take the time for a trip to an SC, since you noted, “I live in Vermont..”.
  9. cracked windshield in cold weather woes

There are many posts about cracked windshield, roof glass and the warranty coverage, if any. From what I recall if the SC team can find an “impact point”, it is not covered. You could call Riv and ask. You will most likely need to drive to an SC for an inspection. Do you want to take the time...
  10. Got the R1T Cargo Net

Ditto on the lettering. They could’ve sewed it.
  11. Glen Burnie SC Experience w/ Rock Sliders/Running Boards?

At least they offered to remove them, even if for a fee. Some SCs will not touch them. This policy needs to be standardized. Shouldn’t all SCs have the same equipment, procedures and training?
  12. If you say you are driving in Sport mode all the time, you are lying!!

Speaking of Sport Mode. To me, Sport-Lowest-Soft is finally handling the bumps, potholes much better after this last update, 2025.46.
  13. If you say you are driving in Sport mode all the time, you are lying!!

So you are comparing a sedan with a truck. Plz don’t tell us you expected the same ride quality.
  14. WTF is going on with creating a service request?

This week the AI opened a ticket that said my car charge port was green, but the Riv L2 wall charger was blinking white. I did not input green as part of the problem. I ended up calling in. the rep was confused. I was too, when he told me the case description.
  15. .46 1st world problem - Maps whack-a-mole

Interesting the G1 notes state the driver display map will change to the driver assistance view when highway or park assist is “enabled”.
  16. Impatient Gen 2 owner. How do I force my R1S to download the update?

Aside from what has been noted. You could try calling Rivian. Don’t engage with the AI, it might take you back a few updates. Haha
  17. 2025.46 Update (Release Notes). OTA pushing out now!
