I had this problem last summer but mine was obviously not latching on the passenger side as I could pull on the closed tailgate and it would move very slightly on that side but was rock solid on the driver's side.
I had to take it into the SC and they replaced both latches (was told this was...
This happened to me and I just disabled and then reenabled the garage door in the settings app. I did this in my driveway and nothing changed, but when I went out and came back, the controls reappeared. From what I’ve experienced, you don’t need to do a hard reset.
Yes, the auto zoom behavior is awful, particularly when you’re close to a turn and it’s zooming in and changing the “scale” of the map. I’ve missed turns several times because I thought it was further ahead judging by the map and then it zooms in and I’m right on top of the turn.
Just got my truck back from Tualatin for the tailgate not latching on the passenger side so that the truck thought that the tailgate was always open. They fixed it in a few hours (replaced both latches) and I was on my way. James there was great to talk to.
I’ve had great service at both...
I finally got my issue fixed.
As has been my past experience, the Portland SC has been great and they immediately started looking at my truck and diagnosed it to be the Power Distribution Unit (PDU) and replaced it. Note that this is the 3rd PDU I've had in my truck. The first failed when I...
I would do this if offered, but the pragmatic part of me thinks that a small, new company like this needs to keep its laser focus on building a sustainable business.
Look at what they have ahead of them - complete the launch of the Gen2 R1's, launch R2, buildout the GA factory, launch R3, etc...
I've had this happen at our 2nd home in the summertime and found that simply turning on a fan on the other side of the garage and pointing it at the passenger's side of the R1T is enough to prevent it from happening. At this home, the Rivian wall charger is is the garage and the garage door is...
After the update, I unplugged the truck and left the charge port door open since it closes automatically when you put the truck "in gear". I reversed out of my driveway, then started on my way and immediately noticed that the charge port door was still open. That's never happened before.
I...
You were inserting the handle at an angle. At a different RAN that I've used several times, I noticed the last time that it was more difficult to insert. Carefully inserting the handle straight in allowed it to connect.
My suggestion is to get your vehicle as close as possible to the...
I occasionally have the same warnings along with ride height not working. Leaving the vehicle alone and allowing it to sleep reset "fixes" the problems.
I agree it seems like software.
For me the problem is the "relocking in the cracked position" part. Why does it do that?
If I unlatch the door, I expect it to stay unlatched until I either open it fully, or push it closed.
I've bought a t-shirt, a couple of hoodies, and the 20oz bottle from the Gear Shop and found them to be expensive, but of high quality. The t-shirt is made of very heavy material. Oh, also bought the backpack and that is really high quality.
I as well like the subtle branding and the clothing...
Since the OP has crossbars installed, there's no way for him to pull the wheel&tire straight up - the spare tire door only opens partway as it hits the rear crossbar. This is why I secure the strap to the rear of the wheel.
I don't have a tent on my crossbars, but I secure a nylon tow strap around the most rearward spoke of the wheel (with rags positioned to protect the wheel's finish) and standing on the tailgate, pull the strap straight up and back to get the tire over the rear edge of the tire cavity. Then I...
bkvargyas,
Do the warning lights go away after a sleep reset? (Get out, lock the doors, and walk away for ~30min). That’s what mine does. This issue is so intermittent for me that I won’t file a service ticket.
KnightRider,
I started a thread on the exact same issue as you: Warning lights that go away by themselves
Please let us know what you find out from the SC. I'm reluctant to schedule an appointment since it's so intermittent and don't want my time wasted with a "cannot reproduce" response.

It really depends on the manufacturer and exactly what is replaced under warrantee.
I had the entire engine replaced in my ICE car under warrantee (would have cost me $27K) and it was covered for 2 years from the time of replacement independent of the original warrantee.
That depends on the shop you had install it. The shop I used (which charged me $7K for whole vehicle PPF) has a lifetime warrantee that also covers edges lifting and damage due to rock strikes, etc. (which I already have a few of).
I'm guessing that the bargain basement shops going for a low...
