That is what I took from previous communications - in specific areas like highways (where fatigue hits more) hands free and eyes free would be ok with the current setup. Complete hands and eyes free in almost all situations would need RAP1.

Order position does matter, they have states as much. It is not just the ONLY variable. Most of the people getting these first orders do have day one reservations - just look at the tracker.

They did have issues with that triangle piece which they fixed a few years ago. It was an adhesive issue. Did you get that fixed on yours (it was a technical bulletin I believe) or were you still having issues after that.

My R1T has wind noise from around 50mph, was your R1T noisy or more reasonable? Asking to then use that as a baseline for how good the R2 is.

They did seem a bit plastiky. Need to try them more.

I wondered if they piped it in via the speakers so it’s audible if music was playing and people don’t forget to switch it off. Assuming this could be modified with an update.

One thing I noticed and wondered if other did is that the indicator noise was louder than in R1 and sounded like it was coming through the speakers. No option in settings to change.

Yes agree going on highway would be useful to assess road and wind noise.
