I would pay to NOT have Alexa installed in any way on my S. I get the Amazon<>Rivian connection, but it’s terrible.

I drove a 2016 XP90D and now drive a 2022 X “refresh”. I am picking up my R1S tomorrow and was planning to post first thoughts and a bit of a comparison. I’ve never been close to or driven any Rivian. Couldn’t do a first mile drive due to my location…stay tuned… My only thought is...

I think it’s fine it’s just too expensive for what you get. Xpel is awesome and, yes, wrapping it over edges is definitely preferred, but it’s overpriced from Rivian - at least compared to my local vendors who charge about $1,200 for the same coverage areas and do wrap over edges/corners.

Bumping. Also seen folks say SCs have them and will sell them…anyone know? I am surprised no one has put them on eBay for $1,000. Seems like something a flipper would do.

FWIW OP, the “coming soon” you show is from the Rivian App pre-car delivery which also shows functions/options only on the R1T. My point is, the app guides haven’t even been updated for S, so I don’t think they’re paying attention to the wristband photo. Side note on topic. Apple Watch as key...

Agree with everyone else. I have pre price increase pricing on my R1S, otherwise, I’d absolutely buy a used R1S or T. Someone else would likely have already had to deal with random issues like 12V, etc.

It’s open, for those that don’t know. And there are a TON of new R1S and R1Ts there. I counted over 30 in my recent drive by. And they all had new registration, not existing plates. Giddy up Rivian and start delivering quicker!! :-)
