I'm leaving the smashed plastic until rock sliders are installed. I also have a smashed lower door trim piece that needs replacing. I have replaced the front plastic bumper cover, but I won't replace that again ($$$).
I, too, have an Interrobang tonneau cover--LOVE IT-- and have made it my weekend hobby to figure out how to keep dust from getting into the truck bed while driving on dusty forest service roads.
No fault of the tonneau cover. Dust is coming in (primarily) around the tailgate. I've installed...
On my first drive post-update this morning, I nonchalantly pressed the left scroll wheel on the steering wheel to pick up the music where I left off. It was partway through Whip a Tesla at 22-volume. Big mistake. Huge.
Has anybody found a solution for dust accumulation? Reading this thread (and another thread about a 3-D printed cover for the tailgate hinge openings), it looks like folks were problem solving this more than a year ago.
I finally purchased an Interrobang tonneau cover this week, and was bummed...
Lectron had already told me that it could be six more weeks. At least with A2Z, they show estimated delivery dates when ordering. I just don't have any confidence in Lectron.
Yowzas! Reading this--coupled with the poor communication I've received from Lectron--encouraged me to cancel my Lectron Vortex Plug today and order the A2Z adapter. It's too bad because I really wanted the Vortex Plug (as compared to the A2Z).
I think the witches are supposed to display with cyclists. However, while driving through a Costco parking lot, they were everywhere because people pushing grocery carts were bringing out the witches.
Love the Halloween special! My son sat shotgun for the first trip. He didn't pick up his device once. Instead, we drove to Costco watching bats, witches, and zombies--giggling the whole time.
Great job, Rivian?
Yes! This⬆️ The plastic that is on every edge of this truck kills me. I've munched, crunched, or tore off just about every plastic piece minus the plastic rear bumper cover.
Here's a picture with my bed full of busted plastic trim pieces after off-roading. ?
The frame of the R1T can take punishment. While off-roading, I've destroyed just about every single piece of plastic that is bottom-facing, but have no more than a mark on the frame left by the smashed plastic.
I've never had an OEM stereo system (that had a decent system) that was so challenging to adjust as this Meridian system in my R1T. What I try to adjust for is an EQ setting that makes me happy with almost all of the various music genres that I listen to. And with Rivian not allowing for a save...
