The dorks yelling about the Owl on Instagram....please go outside.
First of all, #teamowl

Second, this update was intended to bring joy to children. So yes, we should all chill out. ?

I will say the organ is a bit over the top, but I'm keeping it because I love that they're doing a Halloween thing.

I get that maybe last year was better, then turn it off and don't use it. And yes, we should be able to control the ambient lighting and lock sounds, I'm sure that will come eventually, there's a lot of programming involved and I'm happy if they spend their programmers time fixing vampire drain and proximity locking and the things that actually impact the practicality of the vehicles. /rant

I turned it on on my way to the airport then actually spooked myself locking at the shuttle pickup. Miss the owl, will probably turn it off except for special Halloween events. Still glad it's some fun though.

Coming from an IT background these distractions are actually good to keep the team energized and usually end up with increased team engagement and productivity.

Open the door while sitting in the truck and watch what happens on the screen in front of you. A jack-o-lantern rolls out. That’s a new one I hadn’t seen in the preview
First thing I noticed. Was like "wtf is that rolling?" LOL. ??

Well, the organ is a little much for daily use, for me. Maybe fun for special occasions. Is there a way to turn the volume down? It’s pretty loud. I do like that owl hoot from last year. It would be pretty cool to have a number of different sounds to choose from, year round.

I love the sounds, lights and visuals.

Awesome job to the Rivian team. Looking forward to driving it again tonight once it gets a little darker.

I absolutely love it. I always felt, I got my R1S for the sounds, whether turn signal or this Halloween theme and everything else is bonus. I like the thoughts and works being done by the Rivian team. I am definitely team Rivian on this.

Love the Halloween special! My son sat shotgun for the first trip. He didn't pick up his device once. Instead, we drove to Costco watching bats, witches, and zombies--giggling the whole time.

Great job, Rivian?
