You'll have access until you either pick a vehicle from the shop, or your reservation goes into production, at which point you'll be asked to confirm your config and you'll lose shop access. It is not a function of time.
I believe some members on this forum have switched the 20" AT tires for all season tires on the same 20" wheels and experienced range improvements and greater ride comfort. Sorry, don't have the exact post in front of me, but I know I read it on this forum.
You can ask your guide to setup for pickup at the factory. I suggest you do it as soon as you confirm your config in the shop. It has nothing to do with what state you live in - I've read about others flying in from all parts of the country to pick up and then driving back. The factory tour was...
I think you're right. Even if the schedule moves up, I don't think it'd be more than a month or two. In that case I'd rather have the LG in the next week than CR in late summer

I picked one from the shop about a month ago that has a VIN in the 1500s. Guide wasn't very helpful in determining why it was still available. Said that it could be for a number of reasons, but that all cars are new and backed by warranty - pretty vague response.
Curious to see if you get any...
What's your source for this information? My understanding, based on conversations with my guide, was that if you cancel the shop selection you go back to where you were in line, not to the end of the line.
