I did the exact same thing with the page source and applied the same logic in terms of reaching out to my guide. When I had shop access the configs I wanted were disappearing within minutes - no way I could've gotten my guide to give me any info in such little time.
I was looking forward to the factory tour too but was told that my R1S from the shop was already setup to be shipped to the SC and that I could no longer do a tour. That was three weeks ago and the vehicle is still in Normal (as far as I know). Point being - hopefully you're able to get a tour...
I wonder if you could get a replacement under your state's lemon law if they can't fix it to your satisfaction? Never a fan of litigation if avoidable, but if they won't willingly replace and can't fix to reasonable standard...
Not certain on the OC, but the black 22" is a $3,500 upgrade. The 22" bright are included for free ($1,800 value). I think this setup is stupid. If the dark cost $1,700 more than bright, LE customers should just have to pay $1,700, not the full $3,500.
Take them up on the offer for shop access regardless of whether there's adventure inventory or not. Shop access won't change your place in line and you might see something you like, so at this point it's a free option.
I call BS on "you'll only see adventure trims". I was an adventure trim but...
I'm searching the forum trying to find at which VINs the frunk outlet disappeared. I'm thinking my 15XX is about an October build and was expecting the outlet. Your VIN isn't too far behind mine so would've assumed you have it too, but can't find data to support that. Anyone recall when/what...
Same thing happened to me. Pulled the trigger over a week ago and then saw it's 15XX. Questioned my decision for a few days but ultimately kept it (still waiting for delivery).
I figure we'll keep the car 5-10 years. When we sell the value different between 22 and 23 will be marginal. In lieu...
Yeah, fair point.
My bigger concern was that I spoke to two individuals, both of whom didn't seem to understand what OEM parts coverage is. I think that's pretty standard in the insurance industry so I get concerned when both insurance people I spoke to were clearly lost. Perhaps they were just...
I spoke with someone at Progressive today as I'm figuring out my best insurance option and I have to say - I'm not comfortable moving forward with them. Their pricing is by far the best - they'll insure our R1S and our minivan for less than my current insurance on the van alone! However, when I...
Sounds like you've got a good guide! I asked my guide the same question when we went to processing estimate upon shop access and I was told we won't know anything about your window until the late April update.
Sorry for my laziness if this was already posted somewhere else, but any tips on what to expect and inspect at delivery? I know about panel alignment issues, but am thinking there may be more to learn and look out for based on your experience.
I'm expecting to take delivery of the R1S week...
Just did some shopping for our soon to arrive R1S. Here's how we're looking:
Progressive: $700/6 months, paid in full
Geico: $855/6 months, paid in full
Nationwide (through Rivian): $920/6 months, paid in full
State Farm: $1,125/6 months, paid in full
Amica: $1.031/6 months, paid in full...
Not sure I understand what your guide is offering. If they find a 2023 build in the shop will they assign that to you instead of waiting for your original delivery date? Seems like that goes against the one and done in the shop policy.
I watched this pretty closely for the week that I had shop access. Inventory refreshes are definitely not at a scheduled time. I got access about 6:30pm on a Tuesday and there were about 10 vehicles, almost all of which cleared out within a couple of hours. On Wednesday about 5 were added around...
I had an adventure reservation and ended up buying an LE from the shop (or at least I'm in the process of buying). I'll be paying the price that was shown in the shop (which includes the free upgrade to 22" brights since it's a LE).
As I understand it, pricing shown in the shop is based on...
