No biggie on my end. I will switch to the manual cover and add a spare tire with the savings.

And the OC vegan dash is not in production yet. Also, fresh off the presses: Only manual tonneau covers will be installed at the factory. The covers will ship in early 2023. I predicted this was coming soon...

Like I said, engineers probably requested more time to the leadership team to work on the powered tonneau cover but we’re overridden. Getting the truck to market was a priority. They had to know the cover had issues.

It doesn‘t make business sense to install a 1.0 series powered tonneau cover with a flawed design.

I took delivery of a Ford Lightning this year that I am flipping. I will take that federal tax credit when doing my taxes next year.

I have a plan B if Rivian pulls a fast one on pricing. I also have early reservations for a Canoo pickup, Canoo van, and 3 Cybertrucks.

Same truck, higher resale value.

400 miles of battery range is the sweet spot for buyers switching over from an ICE vehicle. Range anxiety is real as buyers don't want to be stranded.

I think Rivian will need the 400+ Max pack to stay competitive with the all new Silverado, VW's Scout, Cybertruck and clean sheet of paper 2025 F-150 Lightning.
