I have been tracking used R1T prices. $95k seems to be the sweet spot right now. 9-months ago they were pulling $115k.
I would be hesitant to purchase a used R1T based on problems that I have read about on this forum. I know Rivianās come with a generous factory warranty but you might be...
The market seems to be hovering in the $95k range right now for R1Tās.
As supply picks up selling prices will go down. 6-9 months ago was the sweet spot for flipping one.
Yes, I believe the Guides will be history once production starts to ramp up. With only 300-350 trucks manufactured per week the use of Guides is still feasible.
I think most Rivian buyers realize going in that they are first adopters from a brand new car company and EXPECT issues. The 5/60k gives most buyers the level of comfort to take the risk on a large purchase.
In exchange buyers get the novelty of driving a vehicle that stands out from the crowd.
2/21 reservation and I never received a delivery window.
I was in the group that cancelled their R1T order after the huge price hike announcement was made and then reinstated my order after Rivian decided to back pedal and honor original pricing.
The rail strike is going to be a huge commerce roadblock. All automakers are going to be impacted with parts from vendors arriving on time and shipping vehicles to the SCās.
I am confident the government will intervene on this strike because of how bad it will affect the US economy.
The no charge OC interior looks fantastic. I am holding out as well.
The OC interior appears to be more on the gray side of white and definitely darker than the Tesla white interiors.
I wonder how stain resistant the white floor mats will be.
10,000 charging cycles and charging in 3 minutes. Could this be the battery technology that will put the final nail in the ICE coffin?

I have an R1T and a Cybertruck reservation.
I must admit that the 3mm thick SS exterior of the Cybertruck is extremely appealing to me. It won't need expensive PPF, waxing, ceramic coatings, repels virtually all door dings, etc.
