There have been reports that it's number 1 globally, others that it's #2. (And the EPA is largely captured by industry so not an independent source.) Whether it's 1 or 2, point is it is rarely even discussed compared to transportation and fossil fuels generally, despite being just as important...
They're called Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations. (CAFOs).
I'm talking about reality, not a fantasy world. We cut down rain forests for pasture land. And "grass fed" cows still produce methane. Nevermind that virtually nobody actually consumes grass fed. "Grass fed beef" is promoted by...
We'll never be serious about dealing with the climate crisis until we end animal agriculture.
It's the single biggest impact globally and yet rarely even gets mentioned.
Get shop access and find or wait for a Launch Edition you like with 20" for no extra cost (as long as it's not one with the "AT package"). This is what I did. Mine has the RUS too for +$2000, but not all do. I was cool with that as I kinda wanted it anyway. Still a great deal what with getting...
I got notice of an update a few days ago. I wasn't able to do it at the time. Now since yesterday I check for updates and it says I'm up to date, but I'm still on 2023.26.0.
Not sure what to do.
I drove 160+ miles home with a fridge and a washer/dryer strapped in the back a few days ago (tailgate down). Originally it said I would have 80-90 miles left upon arrival so I wasn't worried, was driving normally. I only noticed range was dropping very fast about half way back and reduced my...
I did one test in All purpose/standard, and another in Sport/lowest. (This all took me a little over 2 hours altogether.) Obviously lower is going to have better efficiency but that is not the takeaway here.
I got worse efficiency with the Aeros on both tests. Overall 2% worse and 1% worse...
Sport, lowest, stiff, 73° outside, AC off. Battery charged to 60%.
I reset the trip meter when I got into the highway at 70mph. Drove a loop and returned to the charger.
All purpose, standard, soft, 75° outside, AC on 73° lowest setting. Battery charged to 60% before first run and then again after each test.
I reset the trip meter when I got into the highway at 70mph. Drove a loop and returned to the charger.
A controlled test at a set speed and conditions, temperature, battery %, distance, wind, etc seems better than over 100s or a couple thousand miles of general usage because the latter will potentially have far greater variation. Like in my case I might be towing and or going off road for some...
Weird I thought an extra was included intentionally, thought I vaguely remember reading that somewhere. Good thing as I needed it on day 2. No more have come off since fortunately.
Have you gone around and checked they are all pressed in fully?
I lost one within the first couple days and no more in ten days since, even with some very aggressive driving (sport, lowest, stiff, fast around curves etc). ?
I'm wondering if some might have slight defects in the clips or...
Looks great. I only have 650 miles on my truck and ATs so far and they're very impressive but I'm leaning towards making this same swap sooner rather than later. I really want to see how it handles the curves without these chunky tires to fight against.
It was definitely not stolen. I had them on, drove 30 miles or so on a curvy rural road with zero other vehicles, then it was missing.
The good thing that I can report is that I have not lost another one (yet), though I did more similar fast curvy driving on the same road a couple more times...
As someone who really wanted Max Pack, but finally got my perfect Quad Large from the shop, I would say that if you are on early pricing the only reason to go dual is for Max.
At the end of the day I decided to the value of the Launch Edition Quad Large I found in the shop was too good to pass...
I got mine with an Oregon address, and will be self registering in Montana. NM is not on the self registering list, so check with your guide - but you should be good.
