Mine has always sounded like a 1992 Ford Aerostar with worn out bushings
I've had them look at it several times and they say it's just how it is because ThE sUsPeNsIoN iS sPeCiAl
I don't have that high pitched rattle in the vid, but I suspect the phone may not have captured the full spectrum...
Never, but I've heard a lot of onlookers mutter "duuuude did you see that? That's sick!" Or "wow did you see that!?"
You're the one securing the mattress to the roof of your car, aren't you? It's important to keep it from flying away on the highway, after all
Fe Fi fo frunk.... Fruuuunk freaaak
Unclear. I must try. You know, for science
I guess it depends on what kind of Costco shopper you are. As long as you're not getting TP or paper towels and stick to the basics that still somehow cost $300, you're good!
... The front trunk. I don't think it is getting the love it deserves across all EVs but the Rivian, specifically.
Some people (fools!) don't utilize nor care about the front trunk. Little do they realize, one can fit a pizza large enough for a family of four in there, meaning I don't have to...
Yeah that really sucks but you gotta read the email before getting excited and click happy. Not sure that Rivian gets blame here but I feel your pain
Big ol' d'oh moment
Hopefully there's a way they can back you out of it for the sake of (potential) customer satisfaction
Residential here in Tucson. TEP will nickel and dime from here to the moon
There are a few demand plans to choose from, but in order to have the EV plan, they require you to choose one of them
It's the most convoluted plan/billing system I've ever seen in my life
Demand charge
They measure the highest rate of delivery for the month for (15 min?) Increments during peak hours and charge you $10 per kWh
So, since I charge at 9 kWh, that's a $90 demand fee if the charger kicks on
The upside is that it's disgustingly cheap at night
Erm, that note about time-of-use regarding this feature worries me. Is this automatic or optional? I don't really want to wake up at 5-something-am to unplug just in case it decides to maintain during peak hours
That's a $90 mistake for me if it decides to charge outside of my schedule...
I...
Maybe I'm just backwards, but shouldn't the active shutters be closed unless needed? Mine are wide open while parked and off while I imagine they would only open when the battery needs to cool down. Currently it's pretty cold at night and moderate during the day here in AZ... I'm not sure if...
My dude, if you're thinking about a vehicle purchase in terms of investment then ALL vehicles are a fundamentally bad investment.
You're going to have to look at your use case, what you need, and weigh it against what you want vs what you can afford.
In my case, I needed a truck, didn't want...
I had a similar experience with a different vehicle. We also have MME in addition to the R1T and love both. Sometimes I get a little cranky about some of the things in the T - little rattles, more service trips, etc.
Note: I was very sentimentally attached to a 2007 mustang GT prior to going...
Well, damn.
side note, you could have also re-cored your racks with new Yakima cores and I'm assuming it's cheaper than getting them from Rivian. They come with the key blank to remove the Rivian cores unless they changed up to a whole new core design with new key numbers (naaaaaaah...
That sounds excessive...
They're just standard Yakima cores with Yakima keys
If you only lost one, you could have gotten the key number from the remaining key and ordered from Yakima. It's etched into the rivian key.
One time I had a faulty driver's seat sensor so it always thought I was sitting in the chair.
I could lock it manually, though the lights and infotainment all stayed on
I'm not sure if this is mentioned, yet, but in my case it was clutch packs.
Is you put it in conserve the noise may stop (no clutch packs in front)
Each rear has a clutch pack that has to engage/disengage, which I didn't realize.
Mine were (bad?). They tocked excessively.
So far so good with...
