I love my R1T. Best vehicle I have ever owned. And, I eagerly share that assessment with anyone who asks. However, my assessment of the service experience is at the other end of the spectrum.
I have been fortunate enough to have had only one service center visit and one mobile service...
Maybe you got the truck that was originally supposed to be mine. It had a wiring harness problem. I think the SC mentioned a broken connector in one of the doors. They couldn't get a replacement part since everything was was earmarked for new builds. So, they swapped me into the R1T I have now.
Based on this thread from last week I assumed it was an attachment point for DIY 3D printed accessories.

I was running the stock tires at the Rivian recommended 48 psi. So, yes, the increase to 60 psi has likely helped to offset the efficiency hit.
The data point from @ajthejuice indicates a pretty minimal hit at comparable tire pressures.
Nice setup. Great to hear it is working well for you.
I would have considered studded tires if most of my miles were in snow and ice territory. However, the majority of my winter miles will be in the Bay Area and on the road to and from Tahoe.
Agreed that the valve stems need to be recessed...
I noticed it also a few weeks ago. I am pretty sure it is a billboard for Databricks.

Rivian is just getting some "free" advertising as an example customer.
If I were in your shoes I would opt for a 275/60R20 tire size. That way there is no need to adjust for diameter. Yes, it will be heavier than the 21” but others seem to have made this swap with no complaints.
I pre-ordered a set of @EV Sportline R1000 wheels with Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT3 tires back in August in anticipation for this winter. I liked the look of these, liked the idea of a stock +48 offset, and I anticipate that the tires will perform similarly to the Hakkapeliitta R3 set that I used on...
I mentally substituted tire rotations for oil changes and have been doing them every 5k miles. I don't have the measurements handy but recall that at 10k miles they were about 1/3 of the way through the usable tread depth.
Where you could coast into the local auto parts store and fix it in the parking lot with off-the-shelf parts and tools. Did this myself with an idler pulley on the serpentine belt of my '91 GMC Sierra. The 3-piece crescent wrench and plier set I bought still lives in my R1T. I suspect they won't...
Anyone else having trouble with iOS shortcuts lately? About 80% of the time Siri tells me:
Sorry, something went wrong. Short-cuts says, "The request to open "com.rivian.ios.-consumer" failed"
Often it works anyway to lock or unlock the truck despite the error.
I suspect my recent iOS upgrade...
Especially Hyundai dealers. Their reputation for terrible customer service landed them at the bottom of the most recent JD Power rankings.

Nope. Great reference posted here:

Ultimately, 20" provides the widest array of options. Including plenty that can compete with range of the 21" and several that will likely beat...
Arguably the 21 is the most aerodynamic, especially with eh aero covers installed. I think it is also the lightest. The big drawback is a complete lack of alternative tire choices.
