Mine keeps breaking, even after disabling notifications in the preferences. Filed a service ticket and was told that Rivian is aware of the issue working on a fix. For now, clearing notifications and doing a soft reset every time streaming stops is the only way to fix it.
My DIY kit consists of:
Used Ram 2363 rim ($150 on eBay)
Used OEM Pirelli AT tire (got lucky and found one through FB Marketplace at a local shop)
1.8 ton scissor jack https://a.co/d/cGSydbS (not especially confident in this, but it should be good enough to lift one corner)

Given the lengthy development cycle I was quietly hoping they would surprise us with a retracting manual tonneau. The 4-piece design looks nice, but it sure is not obvious why it took so long.

This 20+ year old technology could be put to good use in Internet forum software.
If only Rivian had a relationship with an online retailer that has an established logistics network and access to an array of manufacturers. Then maybe they could pump more of these out.
I considered the CA approved sticker plate. In the end I went ahead and screwed the bare plate to the bumper. I actually prefer the look of a real plate. Just wanted it to be mounted in a way that doesn’t show up on the camera.
