This outage sure makes a good case for Rivian adding support for Apple wallet and Google wallet keys. I know Apple’s even works if your phone battery runs out of juice and is unresponsive to normal interactions.

Does anyone here know of someone that simply screwed their license plate to the front bumper?
I got the mounts suggested by @godfodder0901 and have tried both his method with a scrap metal support and also @boardthatpowder 's method with the oem bracket. Decided that I wasn't fond of either...
Does it have a 12v outlet in the frunk? How about the one under the dash? Misaligned body panels? Loose bolts on the underbody panels? Please keep us updated on your first road trip.
On the way home from work this week I automatically turned down the street for the Costco gas station. Realized a half block later that I didn’t need to stop there. Should have kept going and done a loop around the station waving at everyone.
Not much of a load but I couldn’t resist chiming in since it is the first thing I have used the bed for. Need to get a tailgate pad for a better bike hauling solution than bungee cords.
Are they conventional automotive trim panel clips or something special that would need to be sourced from Rivian? I am really interested to see more of what is under the skin but am reluctant to break a bunch of clips and connectors that are not designed for graceful removal.
I got anxious about the cracks spreading and stopped by an auto glass shop near my office. Only one needed to be filled. The other is not cracked, just a surface chip. Fixed in less than an hour for $50.
The owner was optimistic that, since the windshield is made by Fuyao, aftermarket...
Looks like I joined the windshield chip club on day one of ownership.
I heard two small strikes on the drive from home from OC to SF yesterday. Didn’t see the chips until my daughter pointed one out this evening.
Ordered a couple of repair kits. Fingers crossed that the chips don’t spread...
Picked my Limestone R1T up yesterday in Costa Mesa. Was too focused on the long drive back to SF to stop for glamor shots. Had to make due with this quick shot in a shopping center parking lot.
Thanks again for the tips. The drive went well despite yesterday's weather which various media outlets reported as a bomb cyclone with Fujiwara effect, landspout and tornado warnings. TLDR: it rained a lot.
The most interesting thing for me was that both the Rivian nav and Google Maps directed...
I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the recommendations here lean towards the more adventurous routes. I just checked Caltrans. Hwy 1 is closed south of Big Sur. As beautiful as that stretch of coast is it also would add a bunch of hours to what will already be a long day. I am also ruling out...
In keeping with the Rivian adventure spirit, my R1T delivery that was going to be today in South San Francisco is being bumped to next Tuesday in Costa Mesa. Without going into the details of the switch I'll just say that my newly assigned guide has been proactive with accommodations given this...
I may be going this route as a temporary solution. I received my charger in January but my electrician has been consistently non-committal about the install. I got in touch with another electrician but am anticipating that I will be have to make due without the charger for the first couple of...
