yes you can - as others have mentioned, I will use it when my R1 doesn't open with proximity and I will also use it to open and close the frunk rather than locating the button on the outside. We will all have our own use cases.
Update - while I am still impressed with how fast I got and appointment for non critical issues and the turn around time today … it needs to go back again for the ‘pull to the right‘ issue. It is better, but still pulls. Do others have this issue? the Orlando SC was adamant that Tampa is...
I posted a coupe of months ago with the topic - Service is the weak link - as I had just come through a less than desirable service experience. I try to be balanced, so this is my story this month.
I had a few issues with my '23 R1T so opened a service request for the Orlando SC and got an...

I don't agree - Ford's Pro Trailer Backup Assist is incredible, and I can backup a trailer old school. It's no different than smart home tools or even cruise control - I can do those things manually, but automation is more consistent and make my life easier. All my perspective.
I only have a single data point at this time (one day), but my vampire drain rate is the same after the update. I will continue to track it to be more statistically accurate, but so far in my garage with gear guard off I am losing 1% per day.
Just drove my R1T for a couple of hours after installing the update. It was a mix of interstate and city streets - verdict for me is that the ride is improved and I like it. Is it a dramatic change? No, but it is a noticeable positive improveKent. I appreciate Rivian‘s consistent and constant...
The inconsistency is the worst part for me. I could adapt if it always performed the same way. About 80% of the time mine works as advertised - I approach my R1 and the doors unlock, the other 20% I have to take my phone out of my pocket to wake the truck up. Hopeful that this will improve, like...
