  1. OTA Update 2022.15 Software Release Notes

The sleep mode update has had a positive effect on vampire drain. I was in the 2.5% battery charge loss per 24hr and now seeing something closer to 1% in the same period. Fingers crossed this positive trend continues with more testing.
  2. TT—30P (120v) to 14-50P (240v) adapter?

I’ve been charging my truck for a while without issue using a 30a to 14-50 adapter and the R1T’s cable. Not ideal in terms of kW, works fine.
  3. Testing the Rivian as a ‘backup’ power source

I haven’t yet but will. The ecoflow is a pretty fast charger off of 110v ac. Seems the R1T should be able to be a source in a pinch.
  4. Disabling Wireless Charging Pad - Photos & Observations

I think you are missing the fact that many do not have your excellent experience with the wireless charger actually charging their phones consistently ?
  5. Charging before Wall Charger Delivered

I have charged without issue off a 30a outlet with the included Rivian charger (not the Wall Charger) . Just had to use an adapter to connect the cable but no issues with charging.
  6. Center Console/Organizer

Step 22 makes some nice gear. I’ve got that Stingray. Need to try it in the R1T. The box I’m using was just off the shelf from Target but has worked fine so far.
  7. Any tests done on Vampire battery drain?

Data point: just returned from trip, 4 days sitting in garage and 10% battery drain. Everything off possible including climate. Give or take about 7 miles drain a day by my estimation. All pre latest software update.
  8. 1st Month KWh per mile - owner's results

This topic was just as ā€˜chatty’ for Tesla and not just at the very beginning of production either - and there was significant improvement, through software, over time, so would expect the smart engineers at Rivian to bring similar improvements. As for releasing a vehicle with issues, I would...
  9. Any tests done on Vampire battery drain?

But they have seriously improved it. 2017 Model S has made huge battery loss strides in last 5 years
  10. Extra "can of gas"... for EVs

I don’t understand what juice it actual offers. I have a Delta Pro 3600W and it’ll give me maybe 12 miles on the R1T. Not saying I wouldn’t take that, but the Delta Pro is a pretty beefy portable storage solution and that’s all you get.
  11. Extra "can of gas"... for EVs

Not a ton of information. The charging world is changing so quickly. I wonder what the solution will be in 5 years… not a traveling suitcase I hope.
  12. toolbox 2.0: adding modular bed storage w/ milwaukee packout to the R1T

Very cool. Thanks for posting! I’ve been wanting to remove the side plastic covers to see if an expandable rack rod will have room to fit across front of bed.
  13. Roof Top Camping - Rivian Lights/Noises…

Right? Maybe they tested and decided to push the vehicles out and catch-up on issues later. I think about that with the so-called wireless phone charger and the phone key unlock issue - had to be known ahead of customer deliveries. Someone had to have camped in a RTT as well.
  14. Bug or Design Intent

This is such a great truck. Can’t wait to see it evolve and get these improvements.
  15. Roof Top Tents

I have had the iKamper Skycamp 2x on top of my LR4 for a few years now. Parked in an underground garage with a 7’ 9ā€ clearance. It’s a very tall vehicle with the included Rhino RackPioneer rack but I still manage to make into park as long as I put the LR4 into access height. Have not moved the...
  16. MTB Tailgate Pad

That looks great. Thanks for sharing. I’m using a pad myself and not concerned about the ridge.
  17. Testing the Rivian as a ‘backup’ power source

I just got this unit from Ecoflow: https://us.ecoflow.com/products/delta-pro-portable-power-station I don’t know if it will work being fed from the R1T or not while providing power to the house but with a solar option as well, should be a good option.
