Most modern cars (small displacement and turbocharged) have little engine braking. No matter what gear you drop down to, you won't get much assistance down a mountain. That's why we see brake lights more these days.
It looks like the hydraulic fluid from the damping system others have posted.
From another post too:
From the tech:
Blue - coolant for batteries and motors
Blueish/green - hydraulic for suspension
Yellow - brake fluid
Orange - motor/driveline oil
Red - windshield washer fluid
without a photo, it sounds like you need new tires. 12k on the oem 22” sport tires sounds accurate. It depends on your driving and mode usage. Plus the oem tires aren’t designed solely for longevity.
I wouldn’t go with the oem pirelli tires again. There are much better options out there...
I think I’m going wait it out and see how the extended warranty pricing holds, the OG R1 holds up, depreciation on the G2, and any news on a G3 before I decide on my next move.
I have zero wants to get rid of my OG R1 and I couldn’t care less if there are anymore software improvements from...
Thank you!
I have a 22 R1T with 23K miles on it. The 10yr 125K plan is $6,945. It might be worth waiting until the end of the basic warranty as long as prices do not rise significantly..
$6,945
Term Length: 10 years
Miles: 125,000
Deductible: $100
Coverage Until Date: February 2035
Coverage...
That's a good price. The 10 year coverage is almost $7K now. Did you have a discount code at all, or was that the going price at the time you purchased?
Sorry to hear you had an accident. I'd be curious to know the parameters around why it didn't stop. From my experience, I haven't had a time where the ADAS didn't slow for the merging traffic.
Most Tesla owners are repeat customers or new customers who value the brand's maturity and the charging network. Looks and beauty come second to those priorities for a lot of people. That's why so many compare Tesla to Toyota.
Ah, you must be referring to Tesla's vanity post on 12/31. So far, other than that, there is no evidence that MY beat the Corolla last year. We know that the Corolla was ahead in November and projected to be #1.
It's only been #1 once and they lost the spot last year. It's still neck and neck, but it's not the best selling car and I doubt it will reach that title again with more ev options entering every year.
I'm with you OP. Cold weather doesn't affect mine much. I don't park outside, but I only see a - .10 - .20 difference in 20-degree weather on my same commute. Same as you, interior set at 70, heated seats, and wheel on.
