Give it a little more time and yours should be on its way soon. Alex did say they are overwhelmed with orders. I don’t know if order numbers have anything to do with shipments. I am #50236.
The wait is worth it. The product is well made and functional.
Mine arrived and I installed it in less than 30mins. I will say unplugging the black video cable and reinstalling it was equally if not a tad more difficult than the comma harness install.
Everything went smoothly. I ended up attaching the remote switch to the backside of the steering wheel...
I saw on another thread that Rivian paused fixing/replacing the PTC again.
I had a service center appointment the other week. I asked them to look at the PTC, because it would close then immediately start opening again. They asked if I wanted the cover disabled. I said no, I was hoping a reset...
That may be true. I am no suspension expert. However, I don’t know how you can align the truck differently based on the various ride heights and it not affect another height setting.
I never leave standard height unless it’s by accident. Black’s charged $110 and I’ve had them align it twice so...
I had great luck with a local chain in NC, called Black’s tire. They have a hunter elite rack with the Rivian spec’s. Call around and ask if they have this rack and the spec’s for Rivian. For some reason our Discount Tire store with an alignment machine stopped performing alignments on Rivian’s.
I wish it were true. Sadly powertrain and drivetrain warranties are super limited and don’t cover much. Im with the same understanding as Rivot above, it’s only for the battery, motors, and inverters.
Same, I get the bong, warning message, and disconnect at least 1-2 times a day now. I thought it was my comma setup and wondered if the harness connection was coming loose.
The main culprit was that everyone was leaving their cars in conserve mode (lowered and FWD) all the time. That, plus driving spiritedly, would wear out the front tires extremely quickly.
I'm just putting it out there since no one has commented on the plan to have the Service Center inspect the vehicle for you. You'll have a hard time contacting the service center without a Rivian vehicle and account to open a service request, and depending on the location, appointments may be...
It's sad seeing so many camp speakers for sale. I'm sure some of them came from salvaged Rivian's but a lot are probably from people parting their cars before they trade them in.
