Rivian recommends Discount Tire for wheel alignments. Please note that not all Discount Tire locations have alignment machines, so I recommend checking their website to identify which stores offer this service. Additionally, it's a good idea to call ahead, as my local Discount Tire that...
Another significant benefit of MDAS is less brake wear too. When OP is engaged, it uses the pads to slow and brake the R1, not regen braking. I confirmed this by watching the brake pedal move every time OP lets off the throttle.
For what it's worth, Club Rivian recently posted changes are coming to the network…..
Rivian Steps Up: Big Changes Coming to the Service Experience
The Rivian ownership journey has been filled with excitement — but not without a few growing pains. One area that's long needed serious attention...
Even if the crash worthiness is good, physics aren’t on its side. Look at the smart cars, they have a nearly unbeatable safety cage, however survival rates are low due to the impact forces and nonexistent crumple zones. I don’t think many people will want their family inside one of these with...
I don’t defend the brand, but coming to a forum to complain over and over again about service isn’t going to help you or others.
My recommendation to you and others frustrated with service, sell it. Purchase something that is reliable and more mature as a brand.

Find and call around to local glass dealers, such as PPG or Pilkington. If the glass is replaced correctly, camera calibration is rarely required. The vehicle will tell you if it needs it.
For those following... I'm happy to report that Black's Tire in Raleigh offers excellent customer service, and they successfully aligned our truck without any issues. We will be going to them now for all our tire needs.
Nice writeup!
You can factor in another $66 for the ICE vehicles. That's 2/3rds of the cost of an oil change for those that still waste time and money changing it every 3K miles. :like:
Take Discount Tire in Cary off the list. I called just now and they aren't doing alignments on Rivian's. They are waiting for some software update to their rack. No ETA on when it will be done either.
Rivian service says Tirerack, Discount Tire, or Dunns (All of which are owned by Discount Tire) can perform an alignment. That said, I'm going to give Black's a go. If any warnings pop-up mobile service can deal with it next week.
I learned today that Black's Tire and Auto in Raleigh has Hunter alignment racks with the programming to work on Rivian's. They have not performed an alignment on a Rivian yet, and they advised that if the vehicle is significantly out of alignment, the dealer needs to reprogram the steering...
That was a surprise to me, too. The shop said if the alignment was too far out of spec, targets (which they didn't have) are needed to properly adjust all the safety systems.
I need an alignment and I am having trouble locating any places in the Raleigh/Wake Forest, NC area that can provide this service. Many shops either do not offer the procedure or lack the necessary equipment to adjust the cameras and sensors afterward.
If anyone has successfully found a place...
