It won't work. The Ioniq V2L adapter uses the on-board charger/inverter. The R1 requires an external DC-to-AC inverter.

The vehicle "key in" settings must match the EPA certification conditions. That's why you have to manually disable start/stop engine settings in ICE vehicles every time you get in.

I disagree on the subscription aspect of that statement. CP/AA bypasses their ability to charge for simple functions tied to their data plan, like streaming audio, satellite maps, live traffic, etc..
