+1 to using the Inyokern RAN as another option. It’s only maybe 5 minutes “out of the way” deviating from Hwy 14, but it’s closer to LA and the Classic Burger there has been a hit with the family. Glad to also see LA-area to Olancha directly may also work in some cases.

I’d love one in Mammoth too, but I’m guessing a thoughtful decision on RANs in Bishop and Lee Vining (pending) were deemed sufficient for adventuring in Mammoth. More L2 charging options in Mammoth are probably more feasible and would help fill any gaps.

Use more rigid (steel?) supports. My aluminum c-channels flexed a bit over time. I could re-straighten things out letting them rest upside down supported by their ends. I just got the rivian manual cover and will be selling this solution below materials cost if anyone in SoCal is interested.

Yeah thanks. Looking at things again I believe there’s the private event Friday night and then a one hour “early access event” Sat morning right before a public opening at the usual 10am time. I may cruise down there to check it out. Again, I’m ridiculously overly excited about this space.
