So, if you're running the inverter and you turn on the passenger ventilated seats, it will circulate hot air?
Has any noticed the inverter heating up the cabin during use?
Did you press the cool / heat button? In the R1's, changing the temperature does nothing until you press that button. I didn't realize this my first few weeks of ownership, trying to turn on the heat on a few cold mornings.
Someone just asked me about my R1T yesterday... first question was, is it fully electric? Second was, is it fast? Had to explain about how fast even the lowest EVs are compared to ICE, hahaha. Still a lot of education to be spread out to the masses.
I was gonna say, just get a small battery unit to power the grinder separately, and plug the espresso machine directly into the R1. Worth trying before getting an oversized battery unit.
Use this....

I've had my truck since July '22 and have not had to change the battery yet. I regularly carry my phone, key fob, and backup card key. Should probably practice using the card...
Damn, that sucks. I don't see how the taller height prevents sliding down an icy driveway. You'd think lower is better. Wish it could be disabled or used in conjunction with a freezing temperature check.
Thanks. I figured the outer wire was the black / negative once I saw the rivians cable. A bit harder to install everything than I thought, but eventually got it. Tight fit with the cable strain relief and USB c adapters.
Is there an install guide? Is the Rivian wiring color coded so it's apparent which of the red/black wires should be soldered to which pins? Have not opened up my console yet. Thanks!
