I'm not as far away from the SC, but I try to make a day or half a day of it. Look for a good restaurant or cafe nearby to stop on the way or way back. Lessens the sting a bit.

I always try to touch the paint as little as possible, but forget that the tunnel doors have PPF pre-installed.

Is it your first time using Aquapel? I've had good results for over 1 year after application on previous vehicles. The beauty of it is once you get up to 50+ mph, the water just sheets away and you can turn off your wipers.

I swapped in the PIAA super silicone and they are great as usual. Need to figure out how to reach the center of the windshield and so I can apply Aquapel...

I would do some soldering and install 2 charging pads - no blank. This looks like the most promising charging pad replacement yet!

Interesting, thanks for sharing. For comparison, my 21" road tires: (the spare has never been used; 10/32" = 8mm) Have not rotated yet, but need to feed a nice flat place to do so.

I'm happy with my heater -- I usually have it set to 75*F and fan speed 1. Also seat heat 1 and occasionally the steering wheel heat on. Takes a while to warm up, but the pre-heat via the app helps!

My R1T seats get pretty warm. I only use it on level 1; but my wife likes it at 3. Don't really have a reference point, but they're plenty hot for me.

I also get that warning message when starting driving sometimes. I guess they recommend not moving when the air suspension is raising from a low position or at low speeds. Never a problem when raising from a lowered highway speed stance to an offramp. My work around has been to just manually...

Yup, something related to the last update. Can't save seat or steering wheel adjustments either. Apparently it's a mobile appointment for software update.

Hmm, strange work around. I live on a narrow, busy hilly street around a blind corner, so that would not work for me. Kneel mode works when I park on a steep hill in San Francisco, so I think it is a glitch with geo-fencing.

I think the R1T uses a combination of motor Regen and pad braking to slow down at certain speeds. Before I purchased an EV, I had believed the hype that the brakes last longer etc..., But now I'm not so sure. Very interesting thread and now curious to track both my tread depth and pad thickness.
