Just parked on a fairly steep hill in San Francisco and kneel mode worked... Wonder if it's something to do with GPS location at home. I have proximity sensing off at home... Maybe a glitch?
Update: Submitted a ticket and they called me back saying if the slope is too steep, kneel mode won't engage. Still need to measure mine, but I didn't think it was that bad. I think it should only disengage if the truck is in offroad mode.
I've noticed, using the cabin air heater and headlights in the darker mornings and early evenings has cause a few percentage more battery use than during the summer when I first started driving.
Hmm... WTF. It works when I park on level ground, but doesn't do anything in my driveway. Granted, it's pretty steep, but nothing crazy. I'll have to measure the slope and report back.
What is the slope of your driveways?
Also curious how to mate up the bottle jack with the jack points. Can you use the spare tire kit's adapter or do you have to buy one of those fancy billet aluminum pucks?
Finally a helpful response. Have you had a chance to use them yet? I want to go to Sequoia park this weekend and didn't realize we were going to need chains. May need to look for some at a local shop.
Honestly it's not that big a deal; but I don't typically walk around in the mud either. Weathertech will probably be better, but it's a long wait through the winter...
Probably ran out of the initial run and had to change design or manufacturer to expedite. They will probably go back to the original design when supply has stabilized.
Yep, that's it. Just a phone and phone mount. I already have the RAM system from previous vehicles and that looks like a good fit. Just concerned that the RAM system uses a rubber coated metal ball. The slick plastic with the powder coated metal clamp may be slippery?
Didn't know they redesigned it this year. I think my comment still applies. For the current price, there are some better options. I've been using the older Aeron for 5+ years and it's not great. Wish my employer would spring for Embody's. Been close to pulling the trigger myself a few times...
