I disagree. I love the front port. I can pull up easily even with a bike rack, etc strapped to the back of the car, I can simultaneously watch both the Rivian charging screen and the EVSE charging screen at the same time while sitting in the car, and I don't have to jump over the charge cord a...
We took the same route, leaving Breck around 3:30 with a stop for snacks, bathroom break, and diaper change in Frisco before venturing onto 70 around 4p. CCC was a crawl, but at least it was a constant crawl, which gave us some semblance of hope. The slog up to Eisenhower was the usual comical...
On the service side, the Denver SC is also working on doubling their shop space, with expected completion 1st half of 2024. Hopefully that helps with both existing owner service as well as PDI fixes.
I literally have not had a single one in my neighborhood (have seen them on the open road, though), despite having Amazon deliver on my block daily. Very confused.
I was in Lexington, KY this weekend and saw about a dozen (we were scanning plates to see if they were same or different, and all...
Worked for one the big 3, not directly in manufacturing, but in a role that directly tied to the manufacturing business. Nothing, and I mean, nothing moves quickly when it comes to changing anything on a plant floor.
I would have utterly failed as an economist/analyst, so please don't hate on my rudimentary math...but it looks like Rivian is on track for about 58k annual.
If, by some weird magical miracle, they keep the growth trajectory exactly the same as today, they'd do something like 130k for 2024...
Santa Fe is ~300 miles from the proposed Colorado Springs SC (930 Newport Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80916), so even a North SFNM zip (and especially ABQ) would likely still be difficult to keep inside the 200-mile bubble...how do you feel about moving to Taos? lol
Ours fits in our 2-car (20'-22') with a Tesla Model 3 as a roommate. Generally, we leave the Tesla out as we have 2 car-seat kiddos, and trying to wrangle them in with both cars parks is a bit snug, but it definitely fits without issue.
The Kum & Go (ok, stop giggling) stations in Colorado have been quick to adopt DCFC charging stations, albeit mostly Tesla Superchargers. Both the examples below (Silverthorne and Idaho Springs, respectively) utilize the space behind the convenience store, and both are generally pretty busy...
F150 wouldn't fit in our garage, so it's out by default. R1T is even a stretch, as we have cabinets and what not on the end wall that eat into the depth. R1S has been our Goldilocks.
