No. As of today, the only "pre-heating" done by plugging in is the heat naturally generated by charging. This can be enough to get the batteries warm but, depending on your conditions maybe not up to optimal efficiency temperatures.
Once they release pre-conditioning feature in the next update...
Try switching off the bluetooth and wifi along with putting it into shipping mode.
I just left my R1T sitting for 7 full days @ 60% charge, in my 50°F garage, unlocked, motion cam off at home. I came back to a 2% total loss over the week. Not bad IMO, considering I did not do anything special...
Yes, I've had the same issue since the last update (2023.46.0). Try putting in a new destination and then canceling the navigation after you get going. That returned it to the normal soon/tracking level.
I've noticed this several times in the past, and I do not believe it is relative to the latest update. I think it is related to ambient temperature. If I reach my charge limit and the ambient increases by a significant amount (10+°F) after charging, I'll see a 1-2% increase in charge.
It completely depends on your needs, and based on how you intend to use it, that setup will work just fine. Unless you just want to spend the extra money for a slightly higher charging rate, it would be a waste to purchase/install a permanent charger. I exclusively used this same setup for 3...
This makes me think so...
Charging
Fixed an issue with the vehicle restarting scheduled charging after it was manually stopped.
Fixed an issue in which a charge session shows as completed before reaching the user-defined charge limit.
This is a bummer to hear. I always wondered if these vehicles receiving major OTA updates would ever become its own problem for Rivian. I have usually waited for a little feedback in prior updates to ensure that everything was working alright. Each time my confidence builds a little but, this...
IMO, many people squawking about the stock price either got in too early when the price was not realistic for a startup, and are now in a bad position or... they expect(hope for) Tesla-like growth from a company that has yet to grow to the level of a major market supplier. I do not believe...
Try the express-close function on that same window, chances are it does not work. You can try a calibration but, if like mine, it likely won't fix the problem either. Seems like a service visit is the only known fix for now...
This already exists, your passenger just need to be above the 100-110lbs. threshold to trigger the sensor. Sitting style/location can make a difference on this too.
The suspension clicking I have encountered during height adjustment is perfectly normal behavior. Valves need to open and close to move air in the suspension system. The fact that people can hear it is irritating to some, but it is not excessive by any means. I feel some need a reminder that we...
We have had quite a few around south-central Indy for the majority of this year. There is an Amazon warehouse/hub off of one of the main interstates nearby and the mobile service tech that covers my area spends some time doing PM work on the fleet of EDVs there.
No, it is released in batches and could be anywhere from a few hours to 1 week+ after the initial release date, that it is pushed to your vehicle . Unfortunately we just have to be patient.
Yes, I have the exact same problem with my driver's window. I have not put in a service ticket yet. I agree that the standard calibration is off and the calibration procedure does not fix the issue.
If you watch closely, you can tell that the window is actually closing at a faster rate than the...
