Off the top of my head a Jeep Grand Cherokee tows 7200 lbs, and a range Rover tows up to 7700 lbs. For midsize trucks, I don't believe any of them tow more than 7700lbs either.
I've done quite a bit of towing with vehicles that have tow mirrors and those that do not. My Expedition does not have tow mirrors. I purchased some on Amazon for around $15. They aren't pretty, but do that job. My wife hates the tow mirrors from the F150, so she would not let me retrofit...
When I think of how some people react on this forum, it reminds me of this.
It's.a.vehicle. I really want a Rivian. Dream about, think about, talk about it. But damn, you would think we are talking about some important world crisis the way some are willing to die on a hill for or against...
Not perfect by any means, but for me it was gasoline and a good pressure washer to get most of the oil leak from my 66 scout off my driveway. Good luck!
We ditched our suburban due to its numerous flaws. We have been very happy with our Expedition but here goes.....
1. No more gas, only around 15mpg avg
2. Quiet while driving in the forest
3. Ridiculous torque while towing
4. Heated steering wheel (love it on my volt)
5. No more oil changes
I am hoping for a may delivery for my R1S for my large family camping trip, but if not, then I'll get it when I get it. I'm not going to cancel my reservation, especially after all of the reviews I've watched today!
I use a Pro Series Weight Distributing Hitch for my Expedition while towing my Travel Trailer. Fully loaded I am at 6000 lbs. It is just ok, in my opinion. I am looking for something that does a better job at sway control and does have as.much bounce on the road as I have in my current set...
Our R1S purchase will replace our Expedition, which averaged 16.5 mpg for our 1500 mile trip to St.Louis. we will definitely be saving money on our charging costs over the fuel costs of the expedition. I'm looking forward to the "inefficient" Rivian sitting in my driveway.
The show low EA station has appeared on the app. Looks like it will be at the Show Low City Hall. This new site is most important to us for our camping trips to the white mountains.
