I'm curious to know if there is a difference in the gear whine between the quad (Bosch) and dual motor (Enduro). I feel the gear whine on my QM is a bit more than I was expecting from an EV.

R1S on 21" tires. About 2.1 around town. We do a lot of short trips so the efficiency loss every time we start driving puts a pretty big ding on it.

I can't watch your video but mine doesn't open on a downhill decline on our driveway. The gate pops open and then shuts again. I think the issue is due to something being misadjusted on how tightly it closes. Even on level ground, it "pops" slightly open before the motor starts lifting it. So...

No it's not. That's the problem. In my Porsche it's totally transparent. I never have to touch it, or even notice something is off. It just "works" in the background. With the Rivian it's always something like "why is it blowing cold air on my feet" or "why is it blowing hot air on my arms" or...

FDM printing isn't the way to go for these parts. There are vendors that will print the parts in nylon which will be the most durable solution. That is most likely what I will do, or just design my own personal copy of the everyamp mount and print it for myself.

The 22 tires are high performance road tires, designed for high performance on pavement. They are NOT meant for off roading. Maybe get the 20" ATs and report back.

The R1S is not going to feel as sure footed as the Audi, ever. There isn't much you can do about the tall sidewalls and higher CG on the Rivian vs the low profile tires on the Audi. That is going to create a large difference in handling, whether the tires are made by Pirelli or anyone else...
