Maybe at that point they will limit your color options to the free ones with PPF? That is the only way I could think they would be able to "limit" options and "offer" a new service.
You'd think they will have the first event in Illinois considering that is where the factory is. This must very exciting for you folks though! Hopefully we get a shot at it soon though :)
If i am not getting an R1S or any other 3rd SUV, i would hold out for a GX Hybrid hopefully for a bit, but I am still trying to get a Taycan, but I have to really work hard to justify to my wife the extra money for less seats lol
I am early 2019 reservation holder, R1s adventure. Was oct/dec 2022 and not 1H2023. My lease end in may 2023, so basically, if there is no R1S by then, and it seems no other 3rd row EV is on the market other than Tesla, I might just have to commit elsehwere unfortunately, unless another EV shows...
I will get the 21, and purchase 2 extra tires and store them. This way if I run into an issue, and can't find the tires, I can have one of the extra ones mounted, and just replenish my inventory whenever I find one. 99% I will be driving locally so I think range is my only concern.
I grew up in a place that was littered with Taxis and they were all yellow, so I avoid yellow at all costs.
But, the Rivian Yellow ( I call it Minion Yellow ) is very rich and nice. All their colors are just perfect and it's hard to pick. That yellow R1S is gorgeous!
Captain obvious at it again.
RJ to CFO : We should cut costs to avoid bankruptcy
CFO to RJ: Fuck that, we should pay more for everything, cutting costs is for losers.
If you believe this conversation happened, then by all means agree with Alone Musk.
Yeah, let me delete my thread too so it;s not confusing, but it almost certainly means my R1S Oct/Dec 2022 will be May 2023 now, unless it happens to be one of those batches.
I just got this email from RIVIAN...it seems my 2022 R1S is pushed back :(
Hi Leo,
In May, we reached out to some of you, via survey and Guide conversations, to see if you were interested in reconfiguring your preorder to take delivery sooner. The volume and enthusiasm of the responses told us...
The 21 aren't common yet, and we never know if they will be. That is my issue, get a blowout, then you have to have a spare available, or just gamble and pump some fix a flat and throw away the tire afterwards.
What I really would like to know is that if the 20/22 rims have readily available...
It depends, do you need the looks or he functionality? If you like the 20's for looks, get those, when the tires wear out, put regular tires. The range hit is a combination of the size and the material of the tire.
I am sticking with 21, but really like the 22, so I am thinking of that. I...
I get the Bz/Solterra skepticism, I was very disappointed when the Bz was released as I was hoping for a better/more aggressive product, but I met 3 people who test drove it ( I am hoping to get behind one soon for few laps) and they all said it was an extremely comfortable, enjoyable, and the...
Typical Tesla behavior, if you threaten them and file a claim, they will be more inclined to fix it unless the regional manage happens to be a dick then you got a long fight.
Just so that you know, if you drive your Tesla in mud or water depth that reaches the rim ( higher than your tire )...
Yeah it's a standard REST end points, so should not be that complicated. Unfortunately I do not have a vehicle yet but I did ask Rivian about API availability and they have ignored those emails, I even asked them on linkedin lol
I really want to be able to dig into the vehicle/API for...
