Yeah, not worried about sound profiles or speakers. And only "slightly concerned" about the head unit being a barrier to new functionality as I don't know how the system as a whole is designed/integrated.
I worry more that the new units provide the ability through OTA updates to implement some of the promised to come functionality. And that it will not be possible for the Meridian systems.
Texts, DRM video, etc. We will see....but I understand nothing can be future proof forever.
I understood Wassym to say in one of the Instagram videos earlier this week that "the in house audio system allows us to do OTA updates". This seems to imply that the Meridian may not.
I hope that is not the case and I either misunderstood or the comment was an "in the moment" inaccuracy.
IMO, not reporting to the police and contacting your insurance company immediately is asking for any number of things to "go wrong" and end up in monumental frustration due to delay at best.
You are not at fault. Let your insurance company do the job you pay them for.
I am not an attorney. I would encourage you to call an attorney if you would like to start an action.
I simply stated my opinion from reading the document presented to me by Rivian at the time of purchase. It was just my opinion, similar to yours that "If it was that easy, then all...
As Apple is a charter member of the Car Connectivity Consortium, It *might* not be out of the realm of possibility that Apple doesn't, see the development of a standard as a negative thing? At least at this point.
If that is the case, I would argue that is a positive thing for all consumers.
I'm really happy you are both OK and hope the other driver is also. I'd consider reaching out to the professional that offered their services above to ensure you have the best outcome, especially with someone driving without a plate.
Other than the fact that you or your son could have latent...
I wonder if charging history is keyed on the actual battery, not vehicle and some of what we are seeing is charging during battery manufacture. I can see why they would want to know the history of the battery itself.
In app history I see the charges in the table below. Between July 5 2022 and...
So you have one account for both trucks? I guess that is to be expected. But I would assume that you pick a truck from the initial hamburger menu. Strange that they missed separating the two. Somebody needs better test cases.
Is October when you received you first vehicle? No history showing...
Thanks for the prompt to look. Anybody else have charge history before they even got their truck? In my case I'm showing multiple events 6 months before I got the truck, but in my location. I'd be suspicious, but my truck had less than 10 miles on it upon delivery.
I like this rack a lot. Thanks to all for the detailed information.
I think I'd purchase if there were an easy on/off mechanism. Detaching the uprights and leaving the side rails is fine since the side rails add functionality on their own. But since I would be taking it off/on fairly regularly...
A quote from the article linked by the OP:
"It’s hard to overstate just how drastic Tesla’s price cuts have been over the last few months.
Just a few months ago, Tesla was selling the Model Y Long Range for $66,000 in the US, but after now several waves of price cuts over a few months, it is...
I just returned from a similar trip as Underwirled with very similar results. Crazy, numbers that simply cannot be real in terms of miles or efficiency. Many others are reporting similar "craziness" as far as towing range estimates go; especially since the last update. But it appears Rivian is...
There is a LOT to objectively criticize or "not like" about "some other YTers". But IMO Rivian is who should be criticized for the both the "friends and family" program and any special price given. Purchased via what was a valid Rivian program at the time - fair and square.
But that "other...
