I don't see an answer to what I perceive as a payload problem that would be created by simply adding another battery module or two.
They'll have to reduce weight elsewhere or one of the prime use cases for additional range in a pickup - towing; will still be compromised. Just in a different way...
The un-lock delay happened to me yesterday with phone in hand (unusual for me). I accidentally touched the closed handle with my free hand. Immediate unlock. Tested a second time. Same result. So I don't *think* random timing/chance.
I'll be monitoring and would appreciate anyone else can...
Crap.....I have not actually checked to see if mine actually works! And here I was all excited.
Thanks for the reminder to not assume. Testing.....testing......
Yes, you can simply leave your phone in the car, take the carabiner with you, locking the truck with it as you leave.
Unlock the truck with the carabiner upon your return.
Drive home and carry the phone and carabiner into the house. Paak will lock the truck when you get far enough away...
A good point. Anyone that believes that Rivian is actually going to manufacture a sound system to place in their vehicles is likely going to be surprised.
No screws please (for me). I want something that is EASY to add/remove. Not interested if I need a tool. For lack of a better description, something like this? With a tab to pull it out when you want to remove it.
*It should not however, have a concave space to collect debris.
I believe...
Looking good!
I had mudflaps on my Tacoma, but would prefer not to on the Rivian. At the same time, I'd like prevent the rock splash and wear in this particularly hard to maintain area.
Mudflaps would certainly provide better protection in every way, but for occasional driving on rock roads...
