I was able to rotate both passenger side wheels in off-road, highest, in tire change mode. Same settings, driver rear will not get any daylight under the tire. I am going to try it at another site to see if it is a level ground issue.
If that doesn't work, I will consider using high which is 2"...
Called Rivian and got the following information yesterday for the rotation pattern they use at the service centers...
Spare to Rear/Pass
Rear/Pass to Front/Pass
Front/Pass to Rear/Driver
Rear/Driver to Front/Driver
Front/Driver to Spare
Or if you are visual...
I ran the update yesterday afternoon successfully and plugged in to wall charger later for scheduled overnight charging.
This morning, I unplug the truck and the charger door IMMEDIATELY closes. If I had hesitated a second, it would have got my hand.
They definitely have a logic issue...
Truck may have been sleeping or groggy? Sounds similar if I have left the truck unlocked and I go to press a gear tunnel or tailgate button on the bed, takes a few presses to get the truck alert and oriented then it functions correctly.
Sneak attack, 2023.10.1 is pushing to non-beta owners! Check your app or dash since the phone app does not push notification for OTAs anymore. I will likely kick it off overnight...places to go, people to see today.
Rivian released a Halloween Theme fall of 2022 they was active only over specific dates. The theme featured colored accent lighting inside the truck. We have not seen anything of the such since.
I have also emailed details to the customerservice AT rivian address.
I bet they are pulling logs anytime there is a fault on any vehicle, we are just the annoying human that calls stuff in ?
Kick on your steering wheel heat to wake it up and give it something to think about instead of just drain the 12v ?
I have been out of the country a week now and will be back to the house this weekend. I haven't seen any trouble yet. I am also 14k miles in, there is speculation the 12v could be...
Let me know what you find, I noted the same when I received mine. You guys took care of another issue I emailed you about already for me ? A handle grip would be a great finish.
I agree seeing 12V gauge or readout would be awesome! One of many things I would like to see brought to the gauge cluster options, including regen power, etc.
Noticed the strut that controls the lowering of the tailgate is cracked/separating. I say cracked, but it is probably just a cosmetic shield or covering for the actual strut but still not how it was when it left the factory. Added it to my ATL SC appointment for April 3 for some other warranty...
That is now the official Rivian service recommendation, if you call into Rivian5 for anything, they have a post-it to mention this to every owner when they call to get the word out.
New video yes, but they are saying old news because it was already know months ago that Munro picked up a contract with Rivian. That all started shortly after they got their R1T and started teardown videos ?
