I don't tow anything, but from what I've seen of DC fast chargers in my travels there haven't been many places I've stopped that would easily fit the truck + trailer for charging. For those who are towing trailers, how are you managing that? The RAN charger I used in Sacramento had one space...
I've been rolling with the R1T as my only vehicle for almost a year now and so far it's been fine. The couple times it's been in for service I've had a rental or just timed appointments with work/vacation travel and just dropped off at the SC on the way to the airport.
Sounds exactly like the issue I had. Charger has been working fine for a year but once or twice lately I've come out to find the red light on the port. Resetting the breaker fixed that but the charging team wasn't really able to help determine why the problem was occurring. They seemed to be...
I feel your pain on those Anderson and Yreka chargers! Had a the same problem you did with lots of people and broken chargers in November, but both were better in April but Yreka was rate limited to 50KW for the stations that are bunched together. The one stand alone one in the middle of the...
This is cool, but the Race Face pad I've already got works fine and something tells me this will end up costing more than the $100 or so I paid for that one to provide pretty much the same functionality.
I captured a couple clips today since it was pouring out just out of curiosity. Great view of the water droplets obscuring all the lenses but not sure how useful the video would actually be if needed as evidence.
One key thing missing here, as things currently stand you'll have to pay Rivian some amount of $ for access to streaming via the onboard LTE. If they enable CP/AA theres no incentive for anyone to pay for that connectivity.
I'm using one of these drives and a cable with a 90 degree plug. I've got a couple of these, or maybe one generation prior that have been used with an Xbox for the past few years, no issues at all.
Ahh yes, the "let me guide you behind the address feature", I was getting that constantly. That and being sent to the wrong side of the street. I pretty much gave up on the Rivian Navigation other than setting DC fast charge spots so the battery pre-conditioning works.
I'd be interested in something kind of like this https://trailkitchens.com/products/standard-camp-kitchen that is expandable and sits on it's own. Personally don't need quite that much work space, but a more basic chuck box style with extendable legs that can provide a stable platform for the...
Keep pushing on them, I had sent them links to all of the forum posts regarding this same issue when it happened to me in November. Very surprising that in spite of this obviously happening to multiple people that they still don't seem to have any sort of KB covering the symptoms. The guy at...
EA is pretty common and my most frequently used fast charge. PlugShare is really one of the most important apps to have IMO. ABRP and Rivian can both tell you where there are chargers but PlugShare will let you get intel on whether or not they are actually working. For example one of my EA...
The kitchen and shuttle both seem like potential targets for 3rd parties to fill the gap. I like the idea of the kitchen in concept but it also seems like a lot of space to dedicate when you can just as easily put a stove or whatever on the tailgate.
Same thing happened to me this past weekend. Used the fast charger then parked about 45 mins later. Went to double check if the doors had locked after I'd walked away and saw that. Quit and restarted the app and that cleared it.
Road trip later this week with a lot of fast charging to come...
I didn't really find much point to using TuneIn over the past 9 months but now you have to sign up for the free trial to get it working at all? Was this "update" just a way to remove what they had been offering at no cost to force yet another subscription service?
