Physics. Watch every vehicle when braking. They all “dive forward” a bit. Even if you had perfect 50/50 weight distribution, the vehicle wants to continue moving forward so the weight effectively transfers more to the front and those tires effectively get more grip and have more braking...
The workaround for hands-free is to initiate the request with your phone or watch. For example, you can say "hey siri" and as long as your phone (or better yet an Apple Watch) is within earshot it can be configured to listen to your request. If you're connected to the vehicle Bluetooth it will...
Try a better streaming service. Spotify quality is terrible -- even with the native app in the R1T.
Apple Music Lossless over Bluetooth sounds better, imo.
I see the app supports setting a "location" for scheduled charging... But there is nothing on the "map" to indicate what radius you're actually configuring. Neither a distance measurement nor an street-level detail. Has anyone figured out how to use this feature?
If you have access to a second phone, I'd suggest giving 855-RIVIAN-5 a call on it. Don't hang up your current call, so you don't lose your place in line... But I've never had to wait more than a few seconds when calling the "Rivian 5" number. I don't know if they can help with charging...

Or just don't use plates, at all, since they didn't seem to give a F when my IL temp tag expired and they couldn't get me registration for another 3 months and I was told to just drive around anyway.
I have found NEMA 14-30 and 10-30 adapters to be “must have” along with a 50+ foot extension cord if you’re staying in Air-BnBs and want to charge. I prefer booking a unit with EV charging, but sometimes I can’t so I’ll scope out the listing and if I can determine there is an electric dryer in...
there are aftermarket options. Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, and Apple iPhone are the most common keys for Rivian.
:movember:
some people have used superglue or jb weld to permanently close the carabiner.
in past vehicles I would always move right. It’s just too damn annoying in the Rivian sometimes. I’m cruising along, a little faster than most people and there’s always that one car that comes up my butt and I have to choose whether to disable driver assistance, get over, slow down, wait for...
