When I went to the truck the other day, the Music App just showed "No Content Available." I did a soft reset and that still didn't fix the issue. A short while later I remembered that I had to change my Apple Password and I then figured it must be a permissions issue.
The next time I was at...
I'd be more inclined to wait on a Gen 2 until more have rolled off the line. Let someone else deal with the hassle of Rivian getting their production issues sorted out. There's been some stories of quality issues of late with some of the Gen 2 builds.
I think the other factor driving any...
It's likely more bad luck and timing on your part, than anything to do with it being a BEV vs. ICE.
Usually I've found that the flats typically happen in the rear because the front tire runs over the nail/screw and spins it up on it's head where the rear tire nails it.
I had a recall completed on my truck shortly after delivery as there was a batch of them that didn't get enough coolant at the factory. It took about 1-1.5 hours to drain and refill it. It's also my understanding that this coolant runs double duty in cooling the battery as well as humans in...
I caught a chip in the middle of my glass last year and use a $20 repair kit from an auto parts store. It stopped it from cracking and it's about 80-90% gone (I still see it but no one else notices).
That one looks to be on the edge and likely can't be chip repaired. That being said, it...
Do a search by the size of tire, not if it fits the vehicle. If I do a search by Rivian with 20" ATs, I only get back about 4 tires. If I do a search by 275/65/20 (original OEM size) I get about 25 hits. If you do a search by 275/60/20 the size of the Goodyear tire, it should show up.
Hey Salvador...we got our solar about 4 years ago and that was the deal going on at that time. We ended up going through Sunnova (they aren't very good) but I've learned to deal directly with Enphase when I've had a few problems in the past.
I was going to say it's all heresay without AT LEAST one pic of the rig! :CWL:
Nice shot with the rainbow in the back there. How do you like the Basecamp? I've toyed with the idea of maybe going that routs at some point.
Thanks for the stats and the writeup!
Your suggestion doesn't make sense...or at least not from my experience. First, every loan you have on your house be it the first, second, or whatever needs to be paid off prior to closing. So long as you have equity in your house, this is easy to do.
Second, I've done two solar installations...
If that's "normal wear," exactly how many other "normal" vehicles are out there in the fleet?
This is the first I've seen this issue come up...and that doesn't sound very "normal" to me.
Sounds like it's time for a service ticket. In the mean time, you can try turning on Camp Mode and set things to "off". That should at least turn off the lights and HVAC system so it's not running aimlessly.
I live up in the Bay Area and have solar with a Battery Backup..battery backup is the way to go. Although you can have enough battery packs (they come in 9.9kWh bundles) you typically won't for cost reasons (they are still pretty pricy). The general recommendation is to go with one bundle for...
I think the largest issue with overcrowding at EA stations (those that are working anyway) are those charge lizards with 98% SoC and still charging. I pulled into an EA Station on Labor Day weekend and there was an ID 4 in there charging. I got my 80ish kWh and left in about 30-35 minutes...
Agreed. The drive from Sacramento to South Lake Tahoe is about 100 miles and gains about 8,000 feet in elevation - with some hills being 6% for over 4 miles. Going up will cost about 60-70% of your battery. Coming back down will only cost about 10-15%. Just like in an ICE car, it takes more...
I don’t think Rivian has released enough stats and specifics between dual, tri, and Quads for Gen 2 to really be able to make a fully informed decision at this point.
Theoretically, quads will likely be better for serious off roading - if they have true locker capability. But again I do t...
In addition to the additional weight of the motor to lift, I'd be worried about the vibration on the interior molding...and how it may affect the underside of the hood.
I'm in th Ego Ecosystem and like it. No matter which you choose, stay with the same brand. As far as the Ego goes, batteries are interchangeable with all Ego Devices so as you get more, you also get more batteries. I have enough of them (as well as chargers) so that I can work all day...
