Just seems like they are nowhere near ready to take orders though. We don’t even know the options for battery size, trim levels, options, etc let alone how they would price those for a car to be delivered almost 2 years from now. Seems infeasible.

Would that matter? Don’t you need to actually purchase the vehicle in order to receive the tax credit?

Any updates on the 20” open country? The pirellis are so loud at this point (13k mi) that I think I might just have to replace them. I just want similar or better efficiency and less road noise.

I requested service…we’ll see what they do about it. Hopefully will add it to my existing tire rotation visit in a few weeks.

Not sure what this thing is called, but the flap that covers the seat gap when you put the third row seats down is broken in my R1S. It’s pretty annoying…when you fold the seat back upright the flap gets stuck on the back/bottom of the seat and essentially gets crunched into the seat back...

These 12v battery issues are crazy! I wonder how many 2022-23 Rivian have had one go at this point. Gotta be 25% or more.

Yeah, I did that…posted in this thread. Update…the car is ready to be picked up at the service center. They swapped the battery and gave my Lyft credit to go pick it up. On my way!

So service center sent a tow truck because they could let me into the nearest service center today, and mobile would take a couple weeks unless they had cancels. I’m hoping I get this thing back tomorrow and it’s just a battery swap. Oddly, the tow truck jumped the R1S battery using his truck...

I tried on the screen and on the door itself. The screen button was actually greyed out. I do not have a multimeter. I think I just need to get mobile service over here ASAP to change out the battery. Hopefully that’s all this is.

Tried jumping for 30-40 min and charger door still won’t open. Some lights come on and the screens but lots of buttons are greyed out.

2023, late December.

So I’m able to get the screens back on and the doors unlocked while I’m connected to my ICE battery to the rear wires of the R1S. It’s been a good 30-40 mins and the charger door and frunk still won’t open.

So I made another thread earlier but this thread has been helpful. Does anyone know if I’m able to jump start the 12v from my ICE vehicle and the charge port door opens and I’m able to plug it into my charger, will that be enough? Or do I need to replace the 12v no matter what?
