It may be possible to use GPS to show speed and calculate the odometer. But GPS is not Available everywhere. If driving in arias that do not work with GPS the speedometer and odometer would be off. I believe most vehicles use wheel rotation calculations to show speed not GPS.

It also does not make any sense to have 21 or 22 rims as they will be heavier. I am hoping for an 18 inch option. But if it is an expensive option I may just buy aftermarket 18 inch rims.

It could be a camera. It also might just be where they mount the rear view mirror instead of attaching to the windshield.

I would also like to add that the rear accessory ports in the bumper are missing which is another thing different from the original display model. I too had hoped to see the production intent model. This seems to confirm they have ditched the rear accessory ports. that is disappointing.

I too like the idea of a very metallic copper orange. That would be cool. But I also like the idea of the camo wrap we have seen on the R2.

I am curious about purpose of that slot in that rear bumper. If I was to guess I would say that could house the blind spot monitoring cameras.

Looking at the pics the top of the battery has a cap on it. If it is part of the floor it may be possible to open the top of the battery pack to replace any bad cells if one ever fails. This would make for easy battery repair.
