Seems like a no-brainer. What if you realize you forgot to turn it on when you left your pet in the car? If you can use the app to open the Frunk, surely you can use it to turn on Pet Comfort?
Hear, Hear! Rivian forgets that a lot of potential buyers are older folks who would really appreciate having both the clock and the temperature in LARGER FONT and on the display in front of the wheel.!
I am struck how little storage for stuff there is in the front of the RS1. I got an after-market tray that helps with change, credit cards, pens, etc but I wonder why there isn't a shelf on the passenger side, under the dash for more items. Is there an aftermarket product available?
Since the recent SW upgrade, every time I pull into my garage the wipers come on and swipe twice, with no prompting and even when the weather has been clear and I haven't needed the wipers. Service says this is a "courtesy". It is very annoying and startling, since when they come on and sweep...
Thanks all. I make no claims to have the science background to understand any of this capacitive stuff except in broadest terms but this forum and my RS1 are a joyful source of learning. One of the motivations for buying a Rivian was because of the anticipated eye-opening and...
Still confused. So you CAN manually open the port by touching with your finger? I am getting mixed messages as to whether this is a result of touch or electric conductivity..
Because carwash mode locks the port? But why in the name of heck does it open from the impact of the stream of water? I tried all kinds of ways to recreate the feel and strength of a stream of water with no success. Ok, now I am reading something about capacitance. ??
that doesn't seem right.
I was hosing down my very new RS1 and everytime the stream of water hit the charging port, it opened. Told Alexa to close it. She did. Sprayed water on the area, popped open again. Tried to recreate the sort of stuttering impact with my finger. No luck.
Just...
I'm sorry? And then what, donate them to my local Costco? My thread was about encouraging Costco to get with it for the benefit of upcoming Rivian owners.
I just waited over two hours to get snow tires on my RS1 and I had to supply them with my one puck which makes for slow going, one wheel at a time. Apparently (at least according to my Costco) corporate headquarters is dragging their feet on providing sufficient pucks (minimum 4) for working...
Aargh.. went to settings screen and can't find anything that allows me to activate the button on the wheel to open the garage. Any more detailed info available?
In my ICE Toyota Highlander I had a single dedicated button to push to open the garage (and at least one other button programmable for another bay). Now, to open the garage I have to take eyes off the road, find the little garage icon among the others at the top of the screen, push it and then...
