One 14-50 outlet on a devoted circuit and a mobile charger can reach both our Tesla and Rivian for "charge swapping" and higher mileage refills. But we typically use an additional mobile charger on a 5-20 outlet to trickle charge the Tesla.
If I recall correctly you'll need to show up in person to sign all paperwork. They have a no-e-filing policy that unfortunately was a deal breaker for me when I was shopping for used R1Ts.
Just got a used R1T and I want to swap wheels, so I'm resurrecting this thread to ask if anyone has an image of the suspension while it's resting on a jack stand? I want to confirm where/how to place it to make it a safe backup for a floorjack.
I put in a reservation on March 7th 2024 and another accidentally on October 29th 2025. I received the order timeline notification for both and they're both December 2026-February 2027. Also with the asterisk.
Very slow diagnostic service at this location (like 3 weeks), but relatively quick repair. I was told when I called mid-June of this year that some of their techs had been sent to some Midwest location to help with backlog there. I forget where, I wish I had written that down.
Ended up buying a white '23 dual max with a hair over 40k miles on it from Ever Car. It's been...an experience. I can provide a review of this dealer if anyone is interested (and directs me to the appropriate forum).
Model Y owner here. I keep my workout and climbing gear in there, used on an (almost) daily basis. Swap in family sandals, toys, and hiking shoes on short trips to trails or the beach, firewood on camping trips, and then all our dirty laundry at the end of said trips. Easily one of my favorite...
Update: dealer says the truck is finally with Rivian and needs a week of diagnostics to determine what to fix. If it IS a motor replacement, does anyone have an idea how long that takes?
I had a reservation with evercars on an R1T that was labeled as a dual motor max. They finally sent me a pic of the about screen after I repeatedly insisted that it was necessary to confirm the config. Turns out it was a large battery. They did not adjust the price down so I released the...
I'd be surprised if it wasn't, it should still be covered under the battery and drivetrain warranty. But in the chance it isn't, the dealer is doing the legwork so if they won't cover it, I walk with no money lost.
This seems like a good forum for advice.
I'm about to purchase a 2023 R1T dual max with 40k miles on it, but the dealer informed me today that a side camera needs to be replaced (in-house) and a rear drive needs either servicing or replacement (at Rivian). The Carfax is otherwise clean. I have...
Spotted on the 15th in San Jose. Unfortunately this was the only picture I managed to take. My first reaction was, "why is that Rivian so short?" Then I realized it was the R2, not an R1S.
Thanks! I have seen those but even that $69.9k is a hair outside my budget. That's why I'm pretty limited to '23/'24. Think they can make a deal or are Rivian shop prices pretty locked in?
