FWIW I had the same issue after putting on new tires (same TPMS) where one would not read. A full reset (not just infotainment) and 500 miles of driving and they finally fixed themselves. Does seem like a newly introduced bug because I’d had no issues in the past.
Just last month the Boston SC told me they definitely wouldn’t fit. This explains why they couldn’t explain why ?
I don’t get why Rivian doesn’t just say these fit Gen 1?
You want properly inflated tires so that the edges cut into the ice as much as possible for grip. At least with winter tires. I would think the same would apply to any tires in the same situation.
Just crossed 550 miles so barely broken in. Like the ride feel a lot more than the worn out Pirelli’s felt at 23K, but too early to tell on efficiency on my set.
Did 150 miles on them today and they are definitely more forgiving than the stock Pirellis with 23K miles on them. That said, it’s still early and of course YMMV.
Just had these installed. Couldn’t wait any longer for Costco so had them installed locally for $1,540 all in pre tax. Looking forward to seeing how they perform once broken in. So far they feel much more supple vs. the worn out Pirellis.
20 miles after a tire change and same issue. Fingers crossed this resolves with more distance. Oddly it successfully updated a few times before throwing the error.
Have over 30K miles in our Rivians (7.5K R1T and approaching 24K in 2023 R1S Quad). In all those miles and across the two, I’ve only ever been to the SC for minor panel alignments, a windshield replacement and standard 22.5K mile service. All of those could have waited and none were urgent. So...
It seemed like a new process. They had to go back to get mine and based on how rushed it was (a couple lines were marked wrong so they crossed those out and re did them it seemed). So unclear how much to trust it anyway. ?‍♂️
Got the same (slightly longer) sheet for my R1S when I picked it up from the 22,500 service today. $240 later and don’t think it was worth it for essentially just peace of mind IMO.
Noticed the same here here. Doing a 3,000+ mile roadtrip and on large sections of I-80 in Nevada there is no longer Driver+ availability. Definitely used it in these sections before…
