I've seen the Mono after update issue mentioned in other threads, but I'm not sure this is the same thing.
I'm a "music guy" and typically pay attention to sound quality as well. So, I was surprised to realize yesterday that my stereo has been missing a channel for who knows how long. It could only be a bluetooth thing as I was in the mountains, so had to resort to our only, lousy option when out of range, bluetooth from my phone. A Beatles song came on and I realized I was missing a LOT of sound. I don't think this is Mono per se, because I would be hearing all the sound, just not separated, right?
Anyway, I did a soft reset this morning and it was rectified. I also noticed again that when I do a reset, my stereo gets louder on the same volume setting.
I don't THINK this was due to an update as I'm pretty sure I did a reset for another reason shortly after the last update. I did notice that something had "reset" by itself the other day though. I got into my truck at the end of the day and my screen was in a different place than I left it and my efficiency graph had no history?

My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
I’ve had the same issue once. It wasn’t mono, like you said - it was like one channel dropped out and the DSP was trying to redistribute what was left, so it sounded really hollow.

I just did another reset to see if I got Tidal album art back, but alas, it’s gone for now.

Had the same issue, dropped my right channel, did specific left and right audio checks to find which channel had dropped. Soft reset fixed it but it did pop back up after ending a phone call. Another soft reset fixed it and the issue hasn’t returned, been about a week now since the last reset and have had many calls etc since then.
