R1T Towing Report : 30ft Enclosed Car Trailer Over 9K Lbs

Hello all. Last night my brother in law took a quick test pulling his fully loaded car trailer full of race fuel and 3k pound race car. We are not sure of total weight but may be close to 10k. We plan on weighing this week. He normally pulls this with his Ram 3500 dually and he has been quite the EV skeptic. We took my truck on a 25 mile loop that included approx 20 miles of highway with cruise control set at 65. Temp was 70 and has a decent amount of wind. We were both extremely impressed at the stability. We also have a 5th wheel that I have pulled with my Denali 3500 and it absolutely felt more stable which is just incredible.We averaged around .94kwh in the loop. I was hoping to hit over 1kwh which may happen on our 70 miles journey to homestead Miami speedway Sunday. After that trip I will give the whole report.

So awesome. I was towing a car on a trailer over a mountain and the amount of power still available is awesome too. Looking forward to report.

Nice. I would bet the street tires and wheels have some good effect on towing. Stiffer. Thanks for the numbers on kwh. I have the same wheels and tires and think they perform better on the street, which is where I spend all of my time. Have a Wrangler for off road stuff. Also looking forward to towing a 7k boat and trailer this summer. Good luck at the track!

Update. .89kwh on drive down. Conditions weee 70 degrees light winds and rain. Weather on driver back will be closer to 80 degrees clear skies light wind.
