No wonder if folks are asking if replacing their front bumper with aftermarket/ moving the front sensors plus adding a second 12 volt battery and winch will cause any problems with Rivian Service

Ok good news I had to speak with multiple service advisors but have been able to setup a mobile visit for Friday. Last person I communicated with said absolutely mobile service can replace the batteries.

Just received the 12 v battery requires replacement. Spoke with Rivian was all set with mobile service until I was told if I don’t have a Rivian wall connector no mobile service can be scheduled. Told rep I have two different Tesla wall connectors he said I have to drive to a SC. Not logical in my opinion. Any thoughts.

Sounds like a staffer who doesn't know much about EVs or is just following a script to the letter. But if they are giving you a loaner or paying for a rental (instead of saving corporate funds)...

When my 12 volt battery was replaced by mobile service, the charger was never discussed. I have an OpenEVSE, not a Rivian. Sound like you were talking to a noob.

i had to wait 3 weeks for mine for mobile service. Just keep it plugged in if you can
