A million shrute bucks says these are made in China and definitely not forged. I've inadvertently spent a lot of money on forged wheels made in China (for some reason just assumed that since they were a better wheel that they weren't made there).
Eh. Most OE wheels from all prominent marques come from China. Where it's made isn't always indicative of its quality. I'm old enough to remember when Americans once laughed at Japanese cars (and later Korean cars), then fell silent when the big three had to be rescued. Now, what's most people driving? Toyota. Protectionism doesn't make American manufacturing better. It breeds complacency.
If you just want something temporary to get to the tire shop or to get home, I don't see why not. However, the whole point of having a matching spare is so that you can do five tire rotations. For that reason, I would just pony up for the OEM spare kit. Single OE 20s come up for sale on eBay frequently too, if you don't want to pay retail price. You'd still need to pay for a tire and put together your own jack kit.

I haven't seen much of a difference so far. I intend on giving it a few hundred miles so they can break it, then reset my trip meter and compare after 1k miles or so. We are approaching summer here, so AC usage will be a lot higher, so might be hard to compare.
Way better than me! About 18mo and 31k miles in we are averaging ~2.1mi/kWh. I do a lot of interstate driving at 75-85mph though.
