Our truck was delivered with 2022.3.something, and the software update screen doesn't show it as available. Anyone who has updated to 2022.7 -- did you have to do something special to get access to it? I wonder if the updates are going out in a rolling pattern or...
My understanding is that update needs to be manually loaded. Probably a good opportunity to check out the service experience!

I'm also pretty sure that it was an oversight, and should have been loaded on your truck prior to delivery.

It should update automatically "Over The Air" it could be something as simple as it not being connected to a WiFi network and hasn't checked the rivian servers

That specific software is a major update & has been manually installed by Rivian. I've been told that subsequent updates should be available by OTA.

It’s OTA. Releasing video tomorrow. Just conquered a physical ailment that put me out for a week
Hope you have fully recovered.

We appreciate all of the stuff you have provided so far.

I wonder if the rear display could be used as an infotainment / video system in the future..

Seems like a poor size and location for that. Just get an iPad.

The overview is amazing! Here is a picture from my truck. Nail the parking lines.

Good to know about the rear display. Spent 30 minutes last night trying to unlock that. Then the update landed today.

Watch out for the duration of the update. It was a solid 30 minutes. My laptop was hostage in the gear tunnel until it completed. Would have rather it ran at 2am.

It does look smoother, but I’m concerned about how the parking lines fade away towards the rear. I worry that they've sacrificed showing detail by blending the camera views together over a longer area?

A distorted view that shows what’s actually there is better than a smooth view that obfuscates objects, imo.

I’d be curious to see some videos of the view while actually parking to see how the surroundings/terrain look, rather than just a fixed picture.

I think it's that particular image. I use it daily and shiny see any of that. I'll try to get some video when I park at work this morning.
