2022 R1T
66k miles in on my early 2022 R1T. Here's my "run down" of issues.

My minor issues seen on early VIN R1T (all warranty / recall covered)
  • Driver door gasket fell off. Warranty fix
  • Door lights in back seat came unplugged. Warranty fix.
  • Bad dash rattle, NVH. Warranty fix
  • Early dual battery vehicles can't reset their own 12v DTC / warning via RiDE. If you self-replace, you have to go to dealership to reset the DTC for ~$28 USD
My major issues seen on early VIN R1T (all warranty / recall covered)
  • Drive unit oil loss + damage due to improperly torqued oil plugs.
    • Recall - Test (and potential replacement) of drive unit. RCA-38-23-003-2
  • Halfshaft bolts backing out (you hear a rattling noise when driving slow, the bolt might be flopping around in the wheel center.
    • Recall RCA-38-23-001-2
  • Powered tonneau cover replacement due to design flaw (well known)
  • LOUD Suspension *CREAK* when bumps / moves.
    • Two visits.. first one "can't reproduce"
    • Second visit: Oh... yeah. Suspension items need replaced due to incorrect torque.
  • HVAC Condensation leak over time. Difficult to notice since floor mats in place. Floor wet, musty. Water stain. (I think this is turning into a recall)
    • Repaired under warranty, carpet replaced under warranty.
  • DCFC communication issues slowly crept in. After much fumbling, 3+ SC visits, negotiation, and crying I got them to change the Central Gateway Module. Testing this afternoon.
